SUBJECT LINE – Keep Testing Option or Lose Our Union Dues

NYC Mayor de Blasio is ready to force vaccinate all NYC Teachers. If President Michael Mulgrew and UFT does not DEMAND the COVID Testing option remains for teachers we are stopping all union dues immediately.

The NYC DOE says there is a “window period” in June that is the only time union dues can be stopped but we have legal advice that this is untrue, and we will direct our funds to assisting EVERY TEACHER that wants to stop paying dues to do so immediately in August

    1. I will not allow one man to mandate what goes into my body in order to keep my job! Ridiculous to say the least! My body, my choice! Once we allow the government to take our freedom then we are done!!! Union must fight for ALL the members now!

  3. I do not think they care if we pull dues because that will further weaken the union and make it easier to rule us.
    Wonder about a strike/job action by employees of all unions who are anti mandate.we can make it very bad for them if all unions participate.

  4. I really hope the union comes to their senses and supports us. A mandate in BS. In person teachers were tested weekly..no big deal. This is a margin call from big pharma. The US did not meet the quota for percentage of Americans vaccinated. Now they will, through mandates. Not fair, not American.

  5. I have been asking were the Unions have been and why arent they backing us! Hopefully they will stand behind us we need as much support we can get!
