TEACHERS FOR CHOICE Will Be Part of this Forum
Educators of NYC has invited TEACHERS FOR CHOICE to participate in their online forum on Tuesday, May 11th. All UFT union caucuses have been invited which should give us something UFT leadership rarely gives – perspective, voice, disagreement and democracy.
I greatly thank Educators of NYC for including TEACHERS FOR CHOICE in this event. While we disagree with many positions held by many associated with their organization, that is fantastic! Democracy is not a clear-cut easy pathway to walk down, and it is refreshing to see that Educators of NYC is willing to take the journey. Too few are willing to do so.
