UPDATE — IT WAS JUST BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION NYC DOE REQUIRES PARENTAL CONSENT FOR CHILDREN TO GET THE COVID VACCINE. NYC DOE ALSO ALLOWS A “DESIGNEE” OF PARENT TO CONSENT IN PLACE OF THE PARENT. SOME ARE OPPOSED TO THIS AS IT CAN ALLOW FOR A WORK AROUND OF PARENTAL CONSENT. I ALSO AWAIT CLARIFICATION FROM THE EVENT ORGANIZERS AS TO THE EXACT FOCUS OF THE PROTEST AT MASPETH HS.
