To NY Teacher Union Leadership:

The fact that you have completely handed away your rights to collectively bargain on our behalf and are allowing a lame duck mayor to make the historically unprecedented unilateral move of forcing a vaccine mandate on us is unacceptable.

FIX THIS NOW!!!

SEIU in California has sent a cease and desist letter to Governor Newsom for his illegal vaccine mandates on their membership. The letter calls for Newsom to meet them at the bargaining table.

WHERE IS OUR CEASE AND DESIST LETTER???

The municipal unions aren’t rolling over and showing their belly like a defeated puppy to lame-duck de Blasio. Why are you? Why doesn’t this get collectively bargained?

Your inability to maintain your fiduciary responsibility to your membership is horrifying and forces us to bring back the question – why are we even in this union?

You may not know this, but there are hundreds of thousands of teachers in New York that want you to represent them at the bargaining table on medical mandates, and MILLIONS of us across the country.

Kindly, please, change your course immediately and fulfill your fiduciary responsibility to dues paying union members – DEMAND DE BLASIO GOES TO THE BARGAINING TABLE NOW!!!!

Governor Cuomo needs to be at the table across from NYSUT leadership as well.
