UPDATE 8-7-21, 9:30PM – The NBC coverage was a chop job. They only included one statement of mine, barely, when they had interviewed me for 30 minutes. The most important part of the NBC story is that Randi Weingarten is now leaning back towards supporting vaccine mandates for educators. NBC NIGHTLY NEWS will be covering COVID vaccine mandates in schools across America on Saturday, August 7, 2021, 6:30pm. They pre-recorded my interview for this segment. The spot will be about 4 minutes and there is no telling how much or how little I will be included. The show runs from 6:30pm till 7pm.

Who knows how this will go, I could’ve been setup for a “chop job.” But so far NBC has been very good to me. Last week Michael Gargiulo interviewed me and gave me over 7 minutes of air time on an NBC podcast called THE DEBRIEF. They even ran my spot as the first interview, with a doctor and lawyer following. I was extremely happy with the segment and it went exactly as Executive Producer Melissa Mack assured me before hand it would go. That spot has been viewed over 16,000 times on YouTube so far, and is heard on many other platforms as well.

I can only hope the national NBC coverage is as fair and balanced. We shall see. – mk
