Back in 2020, Mary Holland introduced me to Leslie Manookian who heads Health Freedom Defense Fund (HFDF). Shortly after we met, Teachers for Choice (TFC) contracted with HFDF to be our fiscal sponsor and we have maintained that relationship for nearly 3 years in excellent fashion with no problems.
TFC could not be happier with our arrangement. We are so grateful to HFDF because if it wasn’t for them, TFC may have never gotten a critical federal lawsuit against New York City, Kane v. de Blasio, off the ground (which is now backed by Children’s Health Defense).
We are honored to stand together and support HFDF’s mission, which states, “Of all the basic rights that human beings possess, none is more sacred than that of bodily autonomy. Defense of this most fundamental of human rights is the primary mission of Health Freedom Defense Fund.”
Leslie Manookian is no stranger to the Medical Freedom Movement. In 2011 she wrote and produced the movie The Greater Good which detailed the horrific legacy of Merck’s HPV vaccine Gardasil. For more than a decade she has been a known entity and powerful force fighting for Medical Freedom long before most of us had any idea that we needed to be fighting for Medical Freedom.
