NY Teachers For Choice members and supporters organized a protest for Wednesday, December 16 at 3pm BUT NOW RESCHEDULED IT DUE TO SNOW FOR SATURDAY, DECEMBER 19th 12 noon at the UFT Office building on Staten Island.
We are protesting on behalf of teachers and parents, but we ask everyone who supports the right to choose what happens to your own body with your own doctor to please join us. Here are some of our demands:
- We demand the UFT lobbies Governor Cuomo and Albany politicians to ensure every teacher , parent and student has the right to take, or not take, the COVID vaccine. Over 10,000 educators have signed our petition against forced vaccination.
- We demand the UFT stops the illegal and coercive tactic of supporting students being kicked out of school and teachers placed on unpaid leave for refusing in-school COVID testing while the governing contract remains secret. NO SECRECT CONTRACTS!!!
- We demand the UFT gets New York City Health + Hospital Corp to release their Specimen Collection Agreement with Fulgent Genetics for in-school COVID Testing.
