The only person running for President who came to speak at an NYC Freedom Rally against covid mandates is Robert F. Kennedy Jr., which happend in October of 2021. On July 22, 2023, Kennedy came back to NYC to visit fired workers, support Black owned businesses, and talk to real working class people from NYC.
Cookerz Blend is a phenomenal Caribbean Soul Food Restaurant owned by Moe Oliver, one of the founding members of Educators for Freedom. E4F is made up of NYC educators fired for declining covid vaccination who spearheaded the federal lawsuit Keil v. NYC which is a sister case to Kane v. de Blasio.
It was an honor to have lunch in this amazing restaurant just feet away from Bobby Kennedy! Also in attendance was Bravest for Choice, Teachers for Choice, Curtis Cost and many others. The entire event was the masterful brain-child of NYC’s Transit & Labor Leader Tramell Thompson, the founder of Progressive Action.
