Activist Julie Maury Arrested in NYC for Demanding to Eat While Unvaccinated

New York Freedom Rally performed another sit-in leading to multiple arrests on Martin Luther King Day. One of the arrested activists was Julie Maury.

This is the same Julie Maury who demanded to eat at a Panera Bread in Manhattan on December 1, 2021. Instead of allowing Maury to eat, the Panera shutdown their establishment 4 hours early to avoid arresting a woman in a wheelchair.

Maury also attempted to be served at Union Square Cafe on her birthday just a few days ago. The establishment refused to serve her. When police came no arrests were made, but the establishment stood firm refusing to serve the unvaccinated patrons who were seated at a table.

On January 17, 2022, Maury was arrested for refusing to leave Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., a vaccinated-only restaurant in Manhattan.

Medical Freedom Fighter Julie Maury, who is also an advocate for people with disabilities, was arrested for demanding to be served in a restaurant that discriminates against the unvaccinated.
