Zeldin states “I Respect Medical Freedom”
INFORMED CONSENT is the way forward!

Many leaders in the New York Republican Party believe the two big issues of the election this year are crime and inflation. While these certainly are paramount, medical mandates represents an equally important voting bloc this year.
Here is the perfect example of this:
A rumor on July 28th (now seeming to be true) circulated fast that Kathy Hochul stated to Department of Education brass that she was going to mandate the covid vaccine after the election in November. The source was unknown and initially it was impossible to tell if the information was credible or not. In my opinion, it does not matter if this actually happened as I do believe it aligns with Hochul’s true intent. If she is elected to be Governor of New York for four years she will do everything in her power to mandate the covid shot for every man, woman and child in any way she possibly can.
On the same day, seemingly in response to this rumor, Congressman Lee Zeldin put out the following tweet and it went viral obtaining nearly 19,000 likes, 3,500 retweets and over 1,600 comments:
Under no circumstances, would I as Governor ever mandate the COVID vaccine on anyone of any age for any purpose. If you want to get it, then get it. If you don’t want to get it, then don’t get it. This is a personal decision and I respect medical freedom.
This tweet has gained more attention and support than any other policy tweet from Zeldin since he won the primary. The only tweets that outpaced this were related to when the Congressman was attacked in Fairport at the first stop of his SAVE OUR STATE bus tour. But keep in mind that incident made national and international news.
Just today the NY Times published an article saying many voters have become single-issue voters in regards to mandates. They featured a picture of the DEFEAT THE MANDATES protest in Washington D.C. that over 40,000 people attended. I am proud to say I was one of the organizers of that event. What The Times fails to mention is that all of these single-issue voters are looking to Republicans to prove to them they can be trusted with their single-issue vote!
The Medical Freedom vote is crucial to Zeldin’s victory as it represents the trifecta of constituencies that he needs to show up on November 8th to win:
- His core conservative supporters (like the 100,000 Giuliani voters)
- Independents
- Disheartened Democrats
To ensure Zeldin gets the excitement and momentum needed to boost turn out and guarantee victory he must convince these 3 core voting blocs that the Democrats un-American attacks on New York citizens will never happen again. To do that he must voice strong support for getting INFORMED CONSENT codified into New York State law within his first 100 days in office: the right to refuse any and all medical procedures with no persecution or punishment.
