Good afternoon.
I and TEACHERS FOR CHOICE ask that Michael Mulgrew advocates strongly to bring back the weekly testing option for those educators who are willing to agree to this but not vaccination. The entire MLC supports this at a bare minimum, and Mr. Mulgrew stands alone in NYC labor in abandoning choice for his membership.
Currently, 50 educators have followed my lead and left the UFT in the past week. I know this is true because I’ve seen their emailed letters.
Please keep in mind these 50 brave educators followed my lead only by reading my written posts and instructions. I have done no press about this (yet) I have provided no webinar ‘how-to’ instructions (yet). Thousands are interested in following my lead but still have questions that I can easily clear up for them if I choose to do so.
If nothing happens to bring the testing option back to NYC educators rest assured I will be promoting a mass exit from the UFT with much more force & vigor than I have done to date.Thank you for your time.

Thank you Michael Kane for reaching out to help us in our time of great need!
I hope and pray that the UFT and president Mulgew will negotiate a way of escape from this vaccine madate decreedby the mayor as fact before negotiations have been completed! We have sound medical as well as religious justification to not be forced to take this particular vaccine and NYSUT agrees to maintain the testing option for teachers who cannot get this vaccine.

Thank you Michael. I plan to listen to his town hall tomorrow. Depending on what he has decided to support, I will determine my next steps. Likely to remove form the UFT as well.

Thank you for supporting your fellow teachers. The UFT hopefully will decide in a favorable manner. Next steps will be determined based off of how union supports.

Dear Mr. Kane,
Thank you for your support and help!!!!! Yes, we simply want what every other Union is getting for their members a weekly testing option! Thank for all that you have done. Can we start up another Educational Union so people have a choice which UNION they want to join?
Sincerely grateful,
Danielle (NYC Special Education Teacher)
