NYC Rallies and Dances in Front of Canadian Consulate
As the truck convoy parked in Ottawa enters its third week in the Canadian Capital, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invokes a war-time emergency powers act which is effectively martial law for the country. NYC activists rally and dance in front of the Canadian Consulate in Manhattan to show their support and solidarity with the truckers and people of Canada. New York activists are now calling for people all around the world to #DanceLikeCanadians in front of every Canadian Consulate across the globe.

Nearly 200 peaceful protesters came out to the Canadian Consulate in Manhattan to rally in support of Canadian truckers and their supporters in Ottawa and throughout the world. They also came to #DanceLikeCanadians and organizers encouraged everyone around the world to go to the closest Canadian Consulate and do the same thing.

The protest made a big media splash, being covered by Rebel News in Canada, The Post Millennial, and on the Laura Ingraham Show where multiple protesters were interviewed.
“The corporations and authoritarians who want to destroy our fundamental rights don’t know how to respond to dancing, joy and peaceful resistance. It is their Achilles’ heel,” said Michael Kane, one of the NYC protest organizers. “This is why everyone around the world needs to support our brothers and sisters and #DanceLikeCanadians.”
