Are you aware there is ANOTHER Democrat challenging Kathy Hochul in the primary for Governor?

There is – his name is TOM SUOZZI. He is quite popular on Long Island.

At a meeting of We Love Whitestone in Queens, NY, TEACHERS FOR CHOICE steering committee member Bonnie Skala Kiladitis asked NY Governor hopeful Tom Suozzi what should happen to NYC workers fired for declining covid vaccination.

Here is a summary written by Kiladitis of Congressman Suozzi’s response

– “Everyone was freaking out (in 2020/2021) because people were so scared. We had to do something but we are beyond that now…I don’t think that mandates are working for our society now because we are so fractured. The same toxic thing that we were talking about people battling each other…If you try to mandate anything you are going to have this toxic environment…I have heard a lot of instances from people that to me – as a common sense person – should have been given an exemption. People who have cancer or are having chemotherapy. I have heard a lot of stories about adverse reactions to the first shot and those may not want the second.” [emphasis added]

Suozzi, who is currently a Congressman but is seeking to unseat Kathy Hochul as the next Governor of New York, came very close to saying he supported rehiring fired and banned workers but did not quite pass the finish line.

On April 20 Bonnie Skala Kiladitis questioned you at a We Love Whitestone meeting in Queens, NY. She asked you if you supported hiring back fired and banned workers in New York State and NYC. She reported your response as follows:

This is not a clear answer as to whether you support rehiring the fired and banned employees of New York & NYC. Do you? Do you support paying them back pay? Can you please put out a public statement to make clear what your position is?
